It's not a spa, it's not a massage parlor: Mizu salon is hair-exclusive. Founders Vaughn Acord and Damian Santiago opened their beautiful two-floor hair salon in New York and jumped right into their business. Both of them were at the salon when we came to introduce ourselves. They explained that they do all kinds of hair styling and treatments, but when we asked about any other services they provided, Vaughn, who was giving the tour of their glossy-white space, stressed that apart from manicures, they put all their emphasis on hair. They specialize with Bumble and Bumble products and stylists who are professionals with these specific products. Vaughn and Damian teach all their employees to work with the same care they have acquired over the years. Here are a few snap shots of the accommodating salon, located on Park Avenue between 59 and 60th streets.
