IVANAhelsinki premiered its Spring/Summer 2011 collection, "Where the F*ck is My Sailor?" at Copenhagen Fashion Week to rave reviews. It was said to be truly full of beauty and "an oasis in the middle of fashion trash". The collection was recently featured in Vogue.

The King Collective's own Julia Alarcon, designer for Lialia, has been busy designing custom BRAYsers for the Tampa Bay Rays (blazers for the Rays)! Baseball tonight announcers John Kruk said he'll wear a 50Regular Extra Chunky on the show and Karl Ravech says 40Slim - "if the guys are listening"!

Last week, fashionistas from all over New York City came to The King Collective offices as Amanda Goss hosted her first Sample Sale, featuring the Spring/Summer 2010 Islaet collection.

Guests sipped on a refreshing beverages, generously provided by WineWave and Heineken. They perused the collection, while also getting a sneak peek at their Fall 2010 line as well (that isn't even in stores yet!)
Islaet's "Saturday" Pants, a black vinyl pant that have the look of this season's popular Harem Pants, but fit the body to show off the figure, were tried on by multiple ladies. In fact, the entire "Saturday" collection was a big hit!
The white leather "Sky" pieces were also very well received...almost everyone at the sale tried them on at some point!

The King Collective hosted a sample sale for the vibrant, unique Islaet Spring/Summer 2010 collection, designed by Trine Jespersen, at our office in the Upper West Side. Celebrity stylist Mia Morgan did hosting duties, majestically floating about in a multi-colored leaf print dress by Islaet with a cascading high-low hem as she provided style advice and encouragement. Our COO Erin wore an adorable pink and gray print minidress with flutter sleeves by Islaet that harmonized gorgeously with her light auburn hair. Meanwhile CEO and Founder Keri looked like a statuesque PYT in dark wash skinny J. Brand jeans, black patent strappy Michael Kors heels, and a silky Islaet tank.
Our daytime working quarters provided the understated yet chic backdrop to an evening filled with beautiful clothes and fashionable people. The high ceilings, polished hardwood floors, oversized mirrors and paintings by Emma Cleary provided a luxurious atmosphere to rival any Manhattan boutique.
Another treat was a preview of the Fall/Winter 2010 collection, filled with delicate silks, colorful wool blends, and plenty of options for outfits to battle the elements while looking good. All in all, it was a memorable evening shared with friends and members of The Kingdom, fabulous fashion and beverages from WineWave and Heineken Light.
